Fantasy Books with Strong Female Leads You’ll Want to Read Immediately

Nothing pulls me into a fantasy book faster than a strong female lead. When I say strong, I don’t necessarily mean physical strength—although I definitely enjoy a good action scene. What really draws me in is mental strength, resilience, and the way a character faces adversity.

I find these kinds of heroines incredibly inspiring to read about. They take charge of their story, confront challenges head-on, and leave a lasting impression long after the book is finished.

Quick Plot: Rin earns a place at an elite military academy, only to discover she has a dangerous connection to a powerful god as war breaks out.

Thoughts: I do not think I have ever read a female lead this chaotic. She does not wait to be saved. She is full of rage, fiercely driven, and makes some very questionable choices. But that is exactly what makes her so compelling. She is not here to be likable. She is here to survive and win, no matter the cost.
